Hi guys,

I am getting bored with a pure fire build and like the defence of earth builds and the interupt, hex of water and air. I have played around with some hyrid builds put cant really find that many good ones I create myself or find on sites. Can you guys help me out and post some builds and the ideas behind them?

[skill]mind blast[/skill][skill]ward against elements[/skill][skill]ward against melee[/skill][skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill] ... then a bunch of Fire spells... Fireball, Rodgort's, summat or something.

16 fire, 10-ish Earth, 10-ish Energy.

Glowing Ice or Ward Against Melee.

It's more suited to PvP, but who cares.

hi guys,

thanks stormlord I'll mess around with those skills. I was also thinking of mixing defense earth skills such as sliver armor with fire spells. Will that be useful?

Thanks for your water build Ibreak, I like the look of water skills. However, by hybrid I meant a mixture of elements such as water and air or earth and fire etc. Is this not usually done?

At most you want to be speccing into two elements and energy storage, otherwise you're going to lose a huge amount of effectiveness.
However, if you want to try speccing into more than that, you could try [skill]ether prodigy[/skill].

On Sliver Armour though... In all honesty, I never really saw much use for it outside of solo-farming.
Ward Against Melee is close enough the same thing, 'cept helps the party as well.

Mind Blast and Blinding Flash? (High Fire / Decent Energy and Air)
... Triple Heats and Deep Freeze? (... you don't actually need ANY Water Magic)
I guess you could go Enervating Charge + Stoning... 'cept that sucks and there's better ways to cause Weakness. :/

As long as they've took Elemental Damage at least once, yes. eg. Enemy enters the ward, you hit once with your Galigord's Stone Staff (Earth Damage), then use Stoning. He gets KDed.

Actually, Enervating+Stoning isn't great, but it's not horrible. Kd'd alot of stuff, and killed my share with that opening gambit.

You can opt out of air for Energy Storage and [wiki]Energy Blast[/wiki],[skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill], and a res sig/spell for Stoning. Your secondary is open for debate.

Also, a fire hybrid:
